wellness program for elders suffering from knee pain

As Advisor to PuYU 蒲寓, I am so pleased to have supported them today in a series of wellness program specially designed for elders suffering from knee pain.

PuYU is an accredited social enterprise providing horticultural therapy (HT) services to the general public, with the focus on serving elderly with dementia. The mission of “PuYU” is to enhance the quality of life and slow down the degrading of cognitive functioning of the elderly in the community through innovative HT services. www.puyuhk.com/?lang=zh

In addition, “PuYU” creates shared values by providing training to engage and empower the 50+ golden agers to serve the seniors who have mild cognitive impairment.

They have recently supported over 250 students from Kau Yan School and set the Guinness World Records title for Largest Terrarium-Making Lesson. By leveraging up-cycling the disposed Watsons Water plastic bottle, each student creates his/her own terrarium, giving new life to plastic bottles and help reduce plastic waste with creativity.
